How our email newsletters work

It couldn't be easier.

No system to learn or set-up schedule to figure out. Just send us your email list in csv format (Excel and most other formats are also acceptable).

We do the rest. (Of course if you want to do it yourself, we’ll send you the files, so you can upload your newsletter to a platform like Constant Contact.)

After the mailing is completed, we will send you a tracking report, showing who read your newsletter and which articles they clicked on.

If you order at least 100 PRINT newsletters, you get the EMAIL version of your newsletter FREE.

Exclusive Benefit

Print and email newsletter subscribers enjoy free unlimited access to our Content Warehouse with a minimum purchase of 100 print newsletters or 500 email newsletters per month.

Email Newsletter FAQs

What are the advantages and disadvantages of using email newsletter?

PRINT works best (see our PRINT services tab for more information).
But EMAIL Newsletters have some important advantageous features:

1. Analytics track who reads your newsletter and which articles they open.
2. You can link your newsletter to your Facebook and Twitter accounts.
3. Many of our customers send PRINT newsletters to contacts they absolutely want to be sure will see them regularly and to contacts they know won’t open email newsletters. To the rest of their list they send email.

What customization options do I have for my newsletter?

We’ll create a customized color masthead featuring your agency’s name, logo, and even photos. You’ll receive a proof for approval before we move forward. Plus, you can use color in your masthead to make your brand stand out, at no additional cost.

What if there’s an article I don’t want or I’d like to substitute something else?

You can either provide your own article or choose from thousands of articles in our Content Warehouse.

Can I preview the content of my newsletter in advance?

Yes! Simply let us know you’d like to be a “reviewer,” and we’ll send you a text version of your upcoming newsletter about 5 days before the content is finalized.

Is there a setup fee, and what if I want to cancel?

There is no setup fee. We require a minimum commitment of three issues, and subscriptions are ongoing. To cancel, just give us a 60-day notice, and we’ll handle the rest.

Our Email Newsletters are HTML-formated. What does that mean?

Unlike a PDF newsletter, which is simply a PDF version of a print newsletter, an HTML newsletter is formatted for desktops and mobile devices. The reader scans the topics and descriptions of each article in the HTML newsletter and clicks link to “Read on for details.” See the example below

Your Email Template

What an article looks like when opened from the template.

Even though we will send your newsletter to your email list with our servers, the name of the sender will be the name of your agency. You may also choose to use your own email provider, such as Constant Contact or MailChimp, if you wish. But our email services are included at no extra charge.
